Whenever SUGARFREE does a live act in Feb Fair (annual event in my alma mater), I am always there in the front row.
When I bumped into them at the backstage in one of our dance gigs (Wow! I just realized we shared gigs in the same event; though technically I did not perform that day), I unashamedly asked for a picture with frontman Ebe.
And when they had their last performance as a band in Eastwood, I struggled with the rain just to be there.I just wanted to see their last moment together as a band. And also sing with them, no, shout with them all the lyrics that I know. That night my heart cried together with the rest of the crowd's.
Talk about fanaticism.
So anyway, I was jumping up and down when I learned that Ebe Dancel (Sugarfree's lead vocals) has recently launched his first solo album, DALAWANG MUKHA NG PAG-IBIG.Thanks to Warner Music Philippines, Ebe has just made his comeback. Can't wait to get my hands on that CD! Idiot Odyssey, they don't have it. Yeah, I know, I called hem up and the lady told me they don't have it, not in any Odyssey shops
Okay, so I learned that there were "Limited Edition" releases, where they included 2 discs in the album. 2nd CD features acoustic versions, if I'm not mistaken. And also, based on the reviews I read online, these are mostly the tracks to watch for.

Wheeepeeee!!!
Hope I'll get my hands on that record this weekend. :)

...Ponte a jugar (como!)
one-two-three-four
Uno-do'-tres-cuatro!
Speaking of music that I rave about, I also learned that Armando Christian Perez a.k.a. Pitbull is coming to Manila next month for a concert in the Smart Araneta Coliseum. Yay!
I honestly am not too keen on this genre, but Pitbull is one of the few exceptions. And besides, I'm a dancer so how could I resist his music. If you're not that familiar with him, he popularized the following songs:
Bojangles
Move Shake Drop
Calle Ocho - I Know You Want Me
Hotel Room Service
DJ Got Us Fallin' in Love (w/ Usher)
On The Floor (w/ JLo) <-- yup, he was part of that Lambada song
Give Me Everything (w/ Neyo, Afrojack) <-- different sound, but still very good, we even used this in our Step Up routine
If I have extra cash, I'll definitely watch this. Who else is watchinig?
